Yes there is a gasket there, I'm certain the oil is coming from the intake gasket i pulled a vavle cover and was dry, but I'm not sure if its because its torqued wrong... The oil is seeping from the...

Thanks, yes its in Canada.. but I'm just tired of dumping money into this Carb, I've heard mixed feelings on the Holley reman's but I still want to stick with a qjet!

Yes it is a stock non CC qjet from an 84 z28, I had vapour lock problem before because lines were too close to headers but had that fixed years back this is new and I'm sure Carb related... I'm in...

Anyone figure this out yet? I have the same problem but my car is non CC and 700r4 trans, I thought it was vapour lock also so I insulated the fuel lines but no difference....

Thanks, its non CC Carb had it on my 305, I now have a 350sbc .060 over with eddy performer heads and intake, I'm thinking of just getting a "new" qjet, is there anyone who makes one ready to bolt on...

Yes it has a high flow 3 inch cat on there, could it have been so lean before that I wouldn't smell it?

The choke is hooked up, is there another way to tell if the secondaries are opening?
