Pick a different keyed source. The alternator is keeping it energized with 12v and won't turn it off

Headlights won't go down

88 trans am. Headlights come up with the headlight switch but do not do down I have to turn the knobs to get them back down. The headlight motors do not turn when headlight switch is turned off....

Fixed it. Thanks. It was a ground wire to the buffer box. BLK/WHT. ECM works now too.....Wierd.

Thanks I fixed it!!! Turns out my sensors were bad. And thanks to Pocket I was able to tap into my C100 connector and find my water temp wire.

you can eliminate some but not all. like your injector wires. but you will need to keep all your sensor wires in tacked. Most of them will be just one wire with some sort of plug on the end. like Oil...

You could get a sensor/fan thermostat that turns your fans on at a lower tempature. they should sell them at carquest.

UPDATE I have cut the hole, pulled the sending unit out, replaced the pump with a pipe, patched it all up, and wouldn't you know...The thing runs great!!!

I have an 88 GTA with a 350 out of a 78 chevy pick up. Needless to say none of the electronics work. I have an aftermarket thermal fan switch that gets its readings from the radiator fins just below...

It came with the 305 tpi and t5 but it now has a 4 bolt 350 carb. out of a 78 pickup. I kept the t5 in but I think I've got to much power for it. thanks so much for all your help.
