I have used the envirosafe in mine after I tried 134a. The envirosafe seems to work better. I put it in about 5 years ago and have not had any issues.

I have not used e-30 but the instructor sounds like he is full of BS, especially about the gas mileage.

Heat the screw and hose it down with PB blaster or something like PB blaster while it is still hot. Make sure you dont heat the screw enough to lose its temper, around 300-400 deg should work.

Spend the money on a new set of good flowing heads. Get a cam that is just a bit smaller than what you think you need unless you plan to run open headders.

I used wire cutters to chew the lines apart. After they were apart I removed the assembly and cut the nasty ends off with a dremel while I was away from the tank.

It sounds like the solinoid is not working, it should push the gear out to engage the flywheel. I am not sure why there is an impeller in the starter, the impeller should be in the water pump.
