thats what I wanna know to the TC on my 700 is from a caprice and my 700 is from a truck.....my original 700r4 had to much clutch dust in it after the tranny burned up to save the orig tc

i pulled out my old one this morning and sat it beside the used one i got with around 70k miles on it.

I switched out tail housings and the cable
I got new seals for behind the toque converter...

I have the set that came on my 91 rs that is 3 rows and a set my friend gave me from his 88 rs that is 2 rows....I kind of like the 2 row ones better and I plan on getting blackouts in the future....

It has normal shifter functions and a gate you push down into for the ratchet setting it's in good shape and I got it for like 8 bucks at the junkyard I just think it...

My 91 rs has some cracks in the rear bumper & ground effects and dents in both front fenders and a cracked up ground effects in the front.

after checking it out I think it might be a th350/400 shifter

my friend said maybe change the valve body and a electric OD switch if it's even possible

I found a hurst automatic shifter in the junkyard today out an early 3rd gen
Berlinetta.

It has the 2 handle and 2 holes for the reverse lock

will it work in my 700R4

With further research I read it is possible to do it with a standalone computer but they are a bit pricey.

I found a rather large junkyard that has flat rates on everything.

I figured it would not due to some computer thing. I found a wrecked 99 SS convertible in the junkyard and parts are cheap just finding out if I can upgrade any of my stuff.
