does anyone make replacement actuator rods?

it seems that on every convertible I own the #2 bow actuator rods are bent. Does anyone reproduce these? Its ther main reason my tops don't fold down properly.

Will a 93 S10 Auto work in a 92 V6 bird?

Have a 92 3.1/Auto Firebird that needs another transmission, also have a 93 S10 4.3 TBI/Auto laying around. Will the truck tranny work in the Firebird? If so what needs to be swapped or changed?

Picked up a used 350 block/heads today for $200. I'm taking it to be rebuilt in the morning. The block casting is # 10243880, not sure where to look on the heads. Guy said the motor was in a surbuban...

sometimes it cheaper to get a whole parts car. Thats what I did, found a 92 firebird vert for $450. didn't really need another top frame but figured it might get harder to find these parts later....
