may i add, that when its cold its cranks more then normal before starting. when its on running tempature, its cranks right up

1990 firebird formula 350 tpi.

its a 85,000 mile car. runs real smooth. drives whit no problems.

on cold start ups, it shoots a puff of smoke. only on cold start ups. i assumed maybe some...

nothing major just exhoust. i have a cat back and thats it. the only thing i could think off in the future would be nitrous. maybe 100 shot. not sure about that yet tho.

im looking at the one on edge torque converter . its between 2400-2600. the price seems reasonable, my l98 is mostly stock. or is their another reputable brand for cheap?

ive had five 3rd gens. 1 was a 305 tbi and the rest where L98s. and i was just random searching in craigslist. and i saw some dealer advertising a Firebird trans-am convertible, specs say its a 5.7....

i have the symptons of a bad head gasket... pulsing coolant, bubbly coolant.... but how do i know what head is bad...... since we have 2.....or do i have to pull both of them out?....

yeah my car is a auto. and i will trow a converter to match the cam. im thinking somewere below 220 duration. becouse it seems after 220s you start hearing the lope. and i was also talking rwhp ....

i assume you guys are talking flywheel numbers. so im better of with whit 243 heads? since i would think that a sleeper cam would work better whit l92 heads since they like smaller cams. but thats...

yes like 2x4 smacking together, on the oil its more like metal thickshake and Definitely from the bottom end. i went under. iether the block or flywheel. its a 91 z28 l98. and no loss of power at all

for the past 2 days everytime i drive my car i hear some hitting noise sound under engine bay(the noise is constant it keeps going as the car is idling) . if the car is on parked or nuetral it sounds...

kept hearing a clunk most times when i would brake. it made the clunk sound by the drivers side. so i changed the front ball joints. dint hear no clunk and it actualy felt a little better driving....

mind as well do the control arm bushings if im taking the control arm off right. i just cant see how to fit the ball joint press c clamp, whit out taking atleast rotor off. it does not seem it will...

i did the tv cable adjustment for the 700r. i have a 91 z l98. and it feels better at shifts. but in the post that ive fallowed, it reads like this 1-2…………………15-20 MPH
