Look at the condition of the outside window "scrapes" ... they seal against water filling your doors in heavy rain and can cause hidden rust cancer ... you only see it when it comes through the...

After much deliberation, dry fitting, comparing fitting location, looking up the parts dimensions and measuring it ... nope, cheesy nylon stop bolt on the outer to the spindle :crazy:... the car...

Bah, I think I've got it sorted out, what I thought was backwards has to be right, the spindle is far thicker than the center link... the difference between TRW and OEM just had me confused.

OK, so I'm replacing the center link, inner and outer tie rods on my 86 Iroc.

I took everything out as one unit, separated the outers from the spindle and center link from pitman arm and idler...

It's an 86' with a 350 TPI stuffed in it (TPI sytem is sewn together from hopes, dreams and paper clips... it was once carborated, the lower end is supposedly built...

I'm about to do mine this week... center link and one inner need replacing so I bought everything but a new pitman arm (autozone didn't have in stock), I figure that will be my hardest endeavor ......
