Re: Starting Issues

I would start by spraying some starter fluid in the carb and see if it starts. That will at least tell you if you have a fuel problem or an ignition problem.

Re: Bad Fuel Economy 1987 350 TPI

My money's on the fuel pressure regulator. It's controlled by engine vacuum and when the diaphragm ruptures it starts dumping gas into the intake manifold. This causes the engine to run poorly, black...

Re: Another Issue 92 Formula

I think we really need to ID what actually quit, fuel or spark. I recommend just shooting some starter fluid in the motor and see if it fires. That will tell us if this is a fuel or ignition...

Re: No Start/no injector pulse

First if the ICM was recently replace I would still be suspicious of it. If for example the thermal paste was not applied properly it will fail in fairly short order.

As for as why the fuse blew?...

Re: No Start/no injector pulse

Your relay has two terminals for the coil and then a set of normally open and normally closed contacts. Most likely the normally closed contacts are not used.

Since that does not appear to be a factory relay we really need to know more about what its connected to. and you tell us what wires went where? I'm guessing its an issue with the N/P safety switch.

It's actually a small 1/8 NPT port basically right by the distributor. If your cars got the factory set up there will be an oil pressure sensor/odd ball 90 degree fitting screwed into it.
