Nothing too fancy. I painted it Nocturne Blue, stencil-painted some graphics and cleared over them. Gets nice compliments.

They create a tight fit between the closed door and the B pillar to reduce flex front-to-rear. I think they appear only on T-top cars.

That's great work! I have done a couple of projects but did not have good luck unless i went way up to 2000 grit. How are you getting such great results with 220 grit?

Sand smooth as described above.
Use rattle can enamel to cover (gloss black is always good.)

We intentionally left off the side moldings and B pillar bird decals. Going for a clean presentation. I really like the way the red stencils came out.

Buffed and polished. Fixed as many goofs as I could. Installed the interior. Put the original wheels back on. Lots of little projects remaining to do, but we can cruise now.

I recommend you go to glass tops. Easy to find at the junkyard and not expensive.

DONT pitch the old ones, though. The racers like them because they're lighter. And you can sand and paint them...

Some better pics of the paint so far. Just have some details to do (hood grills, etc.) and some spots to fix (where the tape pieces are). Line up the hood and then get to work on the inside.

I used SoftSeal from 1AAuto. I did it in stages (one piece per day) but total time I would say was 4 hours.

It is a very good fit, nice and soft. If you use the adhesive like it's intended to be...

Put in the first t-top strip last night. Fits really well, and its nice and soft. The top is a TIGHT fit after the strip is in. I silicone'd the t-top panel...

I have broken a rear window when I was using a hatch with no struts. They are REALLY heavy, and twist a lot.

Actually, the set I bought included these sills. Nice sills, with weatherstrip already attached. Just attach 'em to your door cards.

My car (1991 TA T-tops) needs door wedges. I think they are different for the later cars - plastic, and look just like a door stop wedge.

Anybody have a pic of what the newer style looks like?...
