So is your engine warming up normally now, with the new thermostat installed? I cant remember what I used, but I think I just an open ended spanner to remove the thermostat housing bolts.

This might be extremely obvious, but rev it with the PVC pulled out of the valve cover and your thumb over the PCV hole.

It's an all original L98, this is the first time the valve covers have even been removed.

So for all valves I can throw away the oil shields?

And for the exhaust...

The stock cam isnt going to be in the motor forever.. I may change it out in a year or so.. The pro magnum roller rockers arent going to do any damage in the meantime with the stock cam are they?

Why not. The full roller rockers will be a big improvement over the factory rockers, sure I'm not going to see full benefits when using them with the stock cam, but its definately an improvement over...
