91 rs v6 3.1 with almost everything new good fuel psi new chip that i put in today now starts and runs like it is having the timing retarded no change since new chain passed smog etc.

Car starts runs cold fine stalls after a while warming up and will not start again - take prom out put it in the freezer get cold put back in and fires right up again runs for a while and same thing...

Hi, mine was the ECM, my chip was ok had to use it in the new ECM and it worked fine. Check out my threads, went threw everything to including VATS to just to get the car out of the junk yard.

That throttle responce problem is the same thing I was having even after everything I had done and checked on it the New ECM cured it for me I did have a good chip I Had to use it in the New ECM.

I used an ohm meter and unpluged each injector and checked each one and found one that was bad all read eather 11 or 12 ohms yours should read about the same have you checked yours.
