700r4 Swap

Can I take a 700r4 out of a 90 Camaro Iroc with a 350 and bolt it directly up to a 78 Camaro with a 350? Will I have to change any other parts besides the speed sensor and driveshaft?

What should the lockup solenoid ohm out to? The trans cooler and lines are brand new...and as far as I can remember there wasn't any trash in them when I installed them.

Wiring and fluid are both good. The TV cable is adjusted according to the manual. Is there any way to verify if it is the lockup?

For anyone having the same problem...it turned out to be the torque converter. I swapped it out with another that Monster sent me and the clicking quit.

I've went through 3-4 tranny's with the exact same problem. In every case...I've had to have them rebuilt. I've been told it's from an incorrect TV cable setting. Good luck to ya!!

The cable is still connected. It doesn't ratchet out at all at WOT...it doesn't move just stays in. It has about an inch and a half slack at idle. The TV cable does have a spring/spacer on the end...
