82 firebird shift knob and button

1982 Firebird automatic shift knob/ button and detent rod. This one was from a 82 TA and has the gold pontiac emblem on the shift button.

Thanks to all of you I got the ac lines installed but still lacking the plastic retaining straps that hold the lines in place on top of the shroud. My local parts guy can not find them in the parts...

The hose retainer is located on the top of the alt. bracket. There is not a strap on the shroud. If you have a picture of yours maybe that would be helpful. GM might of changed the hose at some...

Thanks I will check out those part numbers and see what I can come up with. Just checked the part number I got was 14076084. Maybe I will have better luck with 14078084. ;)

You might want to check around before you start doing anything to the vehicle. Most bodyshops will not paint a vehicle unless they perform all the body/repair work themselves.
