when I went over my suspension I have found a broken spring in front. originally wanted to reuse them. springs do not sag. unless you have one broken keep them.
had issues with the top strut plate....

Took a peak under the car and I have 3/8in travel (if that) before k member hits the bump stop.
looked on the strut shaft and there is evidence that the travel is about 1in actually...

UPDATE:
may have been old gas but idle really cleaned up
hit the strip and got 15s even @92mph on a very hot day.
fuel mileage improved too. old inj must have been leaking like crazy. avg 21+mpg...

car cleaned up, may have been old gas.
hit the strip and got an even 15s@92mph on a very hot day.
stayed too long at wot for my liking, if it would have shifted...

cable bracket was holding onto one bolt only which was almost completely unthreaded!!
I'll blue Loctite them because can't tighten like an animal being that...

years ago I found the most badass post about this transam from Sweden or Finland or another northern Europe country... this car had an all-out drag engine BUT it was setup to run on street. Huge bbs...

use a 12v led as a noid light to check for juice at the injector connector
manifold leak (like when u forget to plug a hose) should not affect that badly.

scanned a buddy's 87 5,0 tpi...
notable differences:

BLM 128 key on engine off/ 141-143 idle
BLM enabled NO / YES (need to re-scan mine)
MAF (gr/sec) 3840 /2610 !!!!...

lol did the same first time thing is I got together with a buddy when ordered and got 2 sets in the same package. gave him the instructions...
I am not implying they will leak with the felpros....

hi,
measured with voltmeter the tps. it was .43v and it would only go to 3.63v (heard should read more than 4v). adjusted to read .54v (this gave 3.78v WOT).
scanned the car having the scanner set...

just to say that I have used dishwasher detergent and installed first into the manifold. then placed the rails over them and finished by tightening the 4 bolts...

Checked fuel pressure. Vacuum line disconnected from regulator (and plugged, as well as plenum nipple) at idle in park it reads about 43,5psi. ignition on is 42psi. If...

dunno about the pump.
I'll check fuel pressure standing and operating. maybe dirty filter? will replace this too.
scanner shows lean with the new injectors... I know old ones were dripping.

I see...
decided however to take em off after all. tried to push down on em a little and 2 front ones would go down and stay there, 2 rears would spring back up. so I don't trust they're properly...

ok thanks for the quick reply.
wondering if I cycle the fuel pump it should be obvious if they leak. if they don't leak now, could they leak maybe later?

I've originally gotten the moog mounts off rockauto. I was aware one of the slots is twice as wide as needed in order to acomodate all years thirdgen for some of the mounts, but the moog ones...

I just put in the prokits with moog insulator (front) I measure 26 5/8.
the car looks obviously lowered...
I have used the founders camber plates and gr2's in front gas a just in the back.
I doubt...
