Houston...2010 spring or summer meet?
Ok since it is 2010 now. I thought we should all get together again and do the cookout thing. maybe we could also go to the drag strip after the get together or cruise ... something??
I am hoping Mike 1badz will cordinate this again, so I am calling you out Mike.
I am willing to be a strong wing man on this and help as much as I can.
If business stays good I will even donate some stickers ,dash plaques or something like that if we decide to organize anything.
Anybody have any thoughts? spring fling, summer meet? drag strip or cruise to a car spot?
Kevin

Well last meet they were for sale for 5 bucks a piece. There was a guy that took it upon himself to print them up and make them available. Maybe by posting this I'll in effect call him out for you and he can give you the connection on the sticker you are wanting. I actually got one on my camaro and it looks pretty sweet. Lance has one as well..

Re: Houston...2010 spring or summer meet?
its too cold for me to head out anywhere.. I'm even looking at postponing my car work this sat to another day due to the weather... Its still up in the air though because I havn't started this car since i bought it and I think its about time to hear her run again. That and I've got the tranny pan cleaned and painted and ready to be reinstalled along with the lever used for the B&M shifter so that I can finish out the install.

Oh no dude.... those are a pain in the butt to change. make sure you clean up all the collant pronto. My last car had that same problem but the guy never cleaned up the coolant and I eneded up replacing the floor pan... not cool...

Car: SOLD!!!!!
Re: Houston...2010 spring or summer meet?
well my car need not have anymore hick ups. first was my water pump debacle. for some reason i was only able to use a ac delco water pump due to how far they stick out. that was after two new bosch water pumps. then a tick in the valvetrain. ok older engine needs valves adjusted again. removed my left valve cover (spectre sucks) and found it had come apart. adjusted valves anyway. put on stockers. get her running again and go for a few long drives. bring her home and doing a few carb adjustments. heater core starts leaking. damn it!!!!! remove the old heater core to install the new one. it was not even close to fitting. took the old one to the repair shop. reinstalled the repaired one. front speakers went out. got them on order. will be ordering my new valve covers next week. going with fabbed aluminum ones or proform chevy ones. man. but ill be there.

Re: Houston...2010 spring or summer meet?
definately not the norm dude... hey lance i got some spark plug wire holders that fit on those centerbolt valve covers... they are yours if you want them.. New in package i went with a different option... of course i extend that offer to anyone else on the boards as well but i thought i'd give lance first shot since he's changing his valve covers anyways...

I figure by the end of the month, I'll get something going. Maybe Kevin and I will have another sticker idea for this meet. We'll see! I still have odds and ends to finish up on my car before I take it out again....

Well, some like them, i just dont, not to mention, the hard top doesnt twist up like the T tops from pulling the tires as easily. Hard top has all the goodys already and has more love in it, not to mention, it is my baby.
