I live close to Dayton, but work for Hamilton county( Chattanooga). Im all over the county all day and i see third gen camaros all the time and Firebirds. Its rare to see an Trans Am or Formula, especially a nice one.

I think the dude that owns/owned the green Camaro down Stone Rd traded it for an 80s Monte. I followed a nice IROC down Martin Mill coming from work yesterday. There's a ragged-out black 2.8 that lives behind Kroger/Pilot area on Chapman. I've got my Camaro and Firebird on Magazine Rd. I mostloy cruise South Knox and Martin Mill from my house to UT campus every day; I'm the one going 55+ on the backroads and scaring the crap out of the other drivers.

I'm always hoping some of these thirdgens I'm seeing on the road are TGO members, cause that'd be pretty sweet.

We are not in east Tennessee, but just across the state line in Western North Carolina. We are 80 miles from Knoxville, and 90 miles from Bristol. There are a lot of f-bodies around here, in various conditions. Most are daily drivers. Mine is a garage baby, so you will only see it every once in a while on sunny days. We do prowl around the Gatlinburg and Pegion Forge areas on a regular basis. The car is a original 86 Ws6, 305 tpi, t-tops, 3:27 borg warner posi with 27,000 actual miles, but think of it this way. Old farts like me saving f-bodies in original condition and lightly used, will insure there are some of them surviving for you to enjoy when you'all are old farts! Hope to see you on sunny days. There are a few around Bristol, however there are not many. I live in Piney Flats (between Bristol and Johnson City) and go to street fights at Bristol dragway and to Elizabethton cruise-in every saturday that I can. There is usually only 1 or 2 third-gens at each event (mine included) but it is fun. My camaro is a 91 rs 3.1 with a two-tone red & black paint job. I just need to repaint the front clip.

Well i don't live in east tennessee, but I do have a third gen in tennessee. I live outside of Memphis. Long way away from yall though!
