Here's one off ebay in Colton, CA:

Blue V6 Fbird

and although this one's in Missouri, it's one of the NICEST Pontiacs I've ever seen on ebay:

Check THIS out! only 16,000 miles!

You better believe I saved most of those pics.

You couldn't even drive that Firebird in CA without twisting the needle off the speedo. Yesterday I was keeping up with traffic on the 15 South headed to Temecula. We averaged 80. It was 85-90 in spots.

Im not really sure, as Im not sure of the extent of the damage . A quick search under my name would reveal the culprit. I dunno, I figure ~$3000.

I'd like a V-8 car. no 6 cylinder vehicles ...

I've sent two Private messages... hopefully I can find some more cars that are for sale. are there any more out there? Autotrader is still showing none. I hate living in san diego.

ps - sorry for not responding sooner... I've been especially busy lately.

I did see a sharp looking early 80's red firebird trans am with a for sale sign, on the righthand side of the road northbound on PCH this past weekend. It was in Seal Beach between Warner and Westminster. I would have stopped for a better look but I was going by too fast. Good luck

How much do you WANT to spend?

Are you looking for a fixer? Does it need to run? What exactly are you hoping to find (in the best of all worlds?) V8? 350? Convertible? Posi? Original?

I'm not selling, but i've always got my eyes open for these. There's a bird sitting down by my kids school in Woodland Hills - doesn't look like it's run in better than a year, and I haven't taken a close enough look to tell you anything more about it, but I'll bet you could get it for pennies.

On another note, too bad CA is so tough on smog, or more specifically, engine swaps - I've got a 72 Buick 455 (out of the Sun Valley Pick-a-Part) that has 72,000 miles on it. Almost clean enough to EAT off. Looked like grandma kicked the bucket, and that frigging Electra was too much of a boat for the kids to sell (that's my guess, anyways). What a heck of a swap THAT would be. (Sigh - guess I'll have to run it over to my brother in New Mexico!)
