Pics with new rims and tires =)
For those that haven't seen the car yet
17x9 ROH Snyper rims with Bridgestone Potenza RE730 tires. 255/40/R17 in front; 275/40/R17 in the rear. Now the car needs a good lowering. More pics are on my site in the sig

Wow, those sure are wide! I'm planning to change my tires soon, but I don't know much about that stuff. I'm still doing research. Did you need special rims to get tires that wide?

Thanks guys
Julie, to run bigger than 255s you need at least a 9in wide rim. Stock GTA and IROCs are 16x8. I say you could safely go with 245s in front and 255s in rear. 255 is pushing it though.
These are the 275s from the rear of the car:

I have Van Nuys paint meaning there is no paint The front is the only shiny part of my car do to a fender bender that got the front repainted. Doesn't matter, the color the car is now isn't the color it's going to be

I see. I'm not planning to go that wide since I'm keeping the stock rims. I like that last pic! Wanted to see one from the rear.

They do for the import cars and I've seen similar in drag race set-ups for the American muscle cars.
