Were Will These 4th Gen Wheels Sit On My Roc?
Im looking at a 88 Iroc this weekend and it needs wheels and a paintjob, so I have a quick question for you guys.
Ive got a good deal on a 4th gen disc rear and I would like to install it on the car if I get it, so ive been wanting to run these wheels on this car, they have a 4th gen offset and im just curious with the 4th gen rear and 2" spacers up front were will these wheels actually sit on the car?
This a 4th gen running the same exact wheels and tires I wanna run, with the rear and spacers up front will they sit close to the car pictured?
18x10 (41mm Offset)Rears and 295/35/18s Tires 4th Gen Rear
18x9 (25mm Offset)Front and 275/35/18s Tired 2" Spacer

So does anyone have any pictures or info of about were they will sit on my Car?

Damn, everyone is finding out about these wheels now! I have a black set sitting in boxes waiting for tires. Two people I talked to that had them said they didn't use a spacer for the rear and one used a custom 9/16" and the other a 3/4" for the front (both with longer studs) to clear the tie rods. Since I have rear disk brakes the wheel hits the e-brake cable and it comes awfully close to the inner wall of the wheel well so I'm planning on just going to run 1" adapters all around so the wheels are all even. I'm going to go with 255/45/17 tires so they're the same diameter as stock. I'm going to buy the tires before the adapters just to be sure they won't stick out of the wheel well.

Those two people I mentioned that I talked to above both had Pontiacs. Here is Tom91Bird's car with 17" chrome:
You should see of Ron's Rims (eBay name: edinboro) and see if they can get you a good price on them.

Sounds like im gonna have to bite the bullet and order them and hopeI get them to fit.
Do you guys think the 18x9 and 275/35 tire might rub any if I put them on so they are close to the outer fender lip on the front?

You will need a 1" adapter, and if you get 275s all around they will line up perfectly with the top edge of the wheel well, and it looks perfect that way.

Yes, my wheels are 17x9 with a +24mm offset. Our cars need 0mm offset, and a 1" adapter is equal to about 24-25mm, so that will put the offset around 0mm. My car:

Thanks.
That's the only thing about this offset with that size wheel, the tires do rub in the front. A few people I talked to before I bought the wheels were using slip on spacers, and said they had no tire rub. Since slip on spacers are not safe, a 1" adapter is the only real choice (I asked just recently because I wanted to try and put a stop to the tire hitting the a-arm at full lock [only one side does that]). Besides, a wheel this wide up front can't be moved in much or it'll hit the strut and tie-rod anyway. I added the quick ratio steering box back to my list of stuff to do since it doesn't turn the wheels as far as the standard box so that should stop the tire hitting the a-arm, or once I do my LS1 swap and have tubular a-arms it won't hit anymore.
