I need advice....

OK I did a MPFI to Carbed 350 swap and I ordered 1984 camaro non a/c v8 springs. Now when I installed them they are exactly the same position and I did reinstall the spring cup for noise. When I put the car on the ground it sat like 2 inches higher then it did before which was something I could deal with, but when I reinstalled the torque arm there is like 5 inches between the tire and the fender lip which now is killing me I will try to get pictures.
I just don't know any other way to go because I def didn't want the v6 springs and they are moog springs so they should be decent

it doesn't have the fenders, nose, radiator, batt, hood, f/seats, carpet, heater box. but will that stuff lower the car alot?

Re: I need advice....

Has it rolled around on the new springs yet? Lifting it up and setting it down will cant the tires in and can cause the suspension to be jacked up until it rolls some to let the suspension settle.

The springs themselves will also settle a bit after driving it some, but you've likely just got the suspension in a bind the way the tires drop and set back down when lifting.

Yea, u won't really know the true height till you've got it all together and drive for a few miles, then u could always take them out and trim slightly. Good luck. What model Moog spring are they. Later.
