Need input please...
So I just got my alignment done and my steering is still not right.
I noticed when I parked just now that with the steering wheel 1/4 turn to the right that the left front wheel was still straight and the right wheel was turned about as much as u'd expect compared to the position of the steering wheel.
I have already put in new ball joints, tie-rods (inner and outer), center link and idler arm...
So now I can only conclude that either my steering box itself is shot, or I just got the worlds worst alignment?? (it was from tiresplus so I am not massively confident!)
Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Re: Need input please...
If it's the alignment I'd rather take it back and call them out on it....not to mention I can't afford anoter one if i can help it.
So u'd be confident it was a sh*tty alignments as almost everything else is new?

Re: Need input please...
if you steering wheel is not straight, and one wheel is pointing in or out when the other is straight, the alignment is wrong, they obviously didnt do it the first time or f-ed it up. Take it back and bitch.

Re: Need input please...
I figured it had to be - it was better when I dropped it off!!
(just the paranoid side of me was thinking the worst and the alignment highlighted some other problem)
I called them and they said I can take it back after work tomorrow, so I just have to hope they have SOME kind of decent customer service.
Thanks for the input.

Re: Need input please...
Now I am really confused...I got paranoid that maybe I didn't tighten the idler arm enough or something so I came home at lunch to check everything before I go back to the shop...
Everything seems plenty tight enough.
with the wheels in the air they both lock at the same angle each way (by eyeball) so I tried it on the ground to see if the extra weight is throwing it off somewhere, and they now both point the same way and go back to center (relative to the steering wheel) without a problem...
How can they be off yesterday, but not today??
Does this make ANY sense??
