Re: what is this?
Mabe its like a spacer because the spring might have not been good, and it would bottom out or sag, so like the previous ower peobly just stuck that in there to lift it so it dosent sag or bottom out... Well thats just my theory i could be completly wrong haha

Re: what is this?
Haha yeah I'm surprised it didn't sit funny. But kinda explains why I had such traction issues autox and it wants to wonder all over the road if I do a hard launch. The rest of my thirdgens tracked fairly straight when launched with a burnout. Gona take a wife wheel to the underside do some painting new shocks try to drop my fuel tank since its leaking when full and parked on a hill. Hopefully with the better rear springs and shocks and lcarbs I'll have better luck with traction. Always wondered why a lowly lb9 with 2.73s and posi would spin so good lol

Re: what is this?
That spacer, if it was only on the right side, could have been used to stiffen the spring instead of using airbags (dragbags), compensating for the typical right rear squat experienced with hard launches. ....Or it was just used to lift the body to make room for what looks like 3" exhaust.

Re: what is this?
ive only had the car since july and put the exhaust on in august this spacer has been there much longer than that lol. ive only put 2500 miles on the car since ive had it and that spacer has been there much longer im sure. it makes since now on how the rear still felt stiffer than the front even after i installed my moog iroc springs up front lol.
