Re: rear sway bar?
Why is a sway bar needed for drag racing? I can see for cornering. Is it torque induced body roll or something?

Here is a drag anti-roll bar for your viewing enjoyment.

Huge rates keep the car nice and level instead of lifting the LF tire (or twisting plus lifting both).

You probably have the 18mm, stock bars go as large as 25, but the 23 is much more common than anything else larger than 18, as far as I can tell. Forget the ads, go visit the salvage yards. Shouldn't be over $20. Take some 13 mm wrenches and some penetrating oil.

Re: rear sway bar?
After I back halved the car with a 4-link, the body roll was really bad when I launched. It felt like the car wanted to change lanes. Installing an anti roll bar now pulls both front wheels evenly and I can just about let go of the steering wheel when I launch now.
I doubt an OEM bar would be as nice but something is better than nothing. Poly bushings are better than the soft rubber ones but rod ends are even better.
Here's a good race version designed specifically for third gens. It's very similar to a universal kit I bought off ebay. With the 4-link, I needed something that I could modify and work for my setup.
