Having some problems with my beater truck

I have a 88 suburban as my beater truck and everyday driver but I am having some problems with part throttle operation. It is a 350 throttle body engine and on the top end it runs great but down low it is slugish and doesn't have any real performance when down below 3k like it should. It has me baffled I have looked at the tps, timing, and it has a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires.

Do you guys have any idea on what could be my problem.

have you checked to see if it is maintaining fuel pressure and proper injector spray? it sounds liek everything on teh ignition side woudl be good and you already checked the tps, that leaves fuel as the only other culprit.
just rev the engien with the air cleaner off and make sure it is geting a nice cone spray when you just ease into the throttle. also, when was the last tiem you changed your fuel filter? if it is old or if you got even just one tank of questionable gas it can be clogged up. if hte spray is good and the filter is new then that leads all the way back to the fuel tank and the fuel pump. they are pretty cheap and as i recall pretty easy to get to and change in those trucks.
hope thishelps

See that is what I thought but I bought it from a friend and he told me that he replaced the pump and filter about 6mos. before he sold me the truck. I forgot to mention that the truck it running rich and it is poping out the exhaust when I get off the throttle. I have an extra o2 sensor if that could be a possibality.

That is what I figured it would be but I tried to remove the O2 sensor awhile back and had a hell of a time trying to get it out so I just let it be for now. I guess I will be crawling under there tomorrow. I didn't know of too many other things it could have been.

Well I will be visiting with my best friend liquid wrench tomorrow.

Thanks for the help.
