timing help

I don't know if you have found the answer but I'll give it you anyways. Close to your heater motor and A/C canister there should be a brown with black stripe wire with a weatherpack connection, unplug it. Turn on the car, take out your timing light and plug it in. Loosen the the distributor hold down clamp, the only bolt on the the distributor, just enough to turn it. Point your timing light at the harmonic damper and turn the distributor to advance and retard your timing. Counter to advance clockwise to retard.
