Open Air Element
I read the tech article about the open air element and I was wondering if there is a part that accepts the IAT sensor. If so I would like to have the part number.

Clean, some air cleaner housings will have several different size "punch-outs" for various size senors. If not, it is easy to drill a hole for it and fasten it on. Also, there are many places you can mount the sensor, it does not have to be in the air cleaner. Go to the parts store and open the package to see what I'm refering to, if not just order one you like and get a little creative. Keep this in mind as you set about moffind your ride: not everything has a part number and half the **** isn't even made for your car, but don't let that stop you. Don't be afraid to look through the "hard core racing" parts in the Summit catalog and grab a thing or two. Have fun!!!!!

appreciate the help, I stuck the IAT sensor away from any heat and I installed a GMPP open element that worked out very well. Thanks.
