Sounds about right to me. Maybe just a little slow, but you might be able to cut that down with some experimenting with shift points, tire pressure, timing, etc.

well that seems kinda slow, but i bet you could gain about 2 tenths if not more if you took out all that unneeded weight from your stereo system.those subs arent lightweights remember.combined with the boxes theyre in and all the rest of the system, and you have atleast 80-100 extra pounds that is really holding you back.if i were you i would make the subs easily removable for the times when you want to race it and what now,if you havent done that to the subs yet.just my .02 cents.

Yea about right. My best time before the rear was 16.387, but I didnt have headders or the cut-out. I think my 3" exhaust killed me, too big for my stocker.

I agree, sounds about right. Question for the guys w. chips: do they actually make a noticable difference? Worth the $$? I figured i'd check before starting a thread that probably has been done a hundred times. Think with headers/chip/3.73 I could break into 15's? My current best is a 16.8, but that was with engine @230 degrees and a passenger. I'll bet i could hit 16.6 the way it sits now. Anyway I'll shaddup now.

Hrd: 3.73's, posi, open element, and full exhaust alone should put any L03 into the 15s. Prolly mid 15s, 15.5ish. My friend Greg ran 15.7 with 3.08 posi (88 T/A LO3), Dynomax headders, cat, cat-back, hypertech chip, and open element with ****ty 225 BFG radial T/A tires.
