will this work ???
im new to all this so please be patint with me. i have a 92 rs with a tbi 305 that needs a new motor. i also have a 94 lt1 that has been converted to carb with a gmpp intake. my question is once i have the motor in the car can i use a carb to tbi adapter and get away with using the factory 305 componants? will the lt1 run too lean doing this, if so what can be done to offset this. the reason i sak all of this is im on a tight budget, and if this will not work then im sol. any help would just be awsome. sorry for the spelling guys my spell check took a crap.

If you have a carb intake and a conventional distributor there is no reason you can't TBI it. Just slapping on the 305 components won't work though. Actually there is no combination of fatory parts that will "just work". You'll need to be able to DIY tune the chip. Once you have the power to do that you can slap the 305 parts on there and get it running enough to drive. The 305 injectors will need the pressure doubled to feed the motor and the knock sensor won't be tuned for the 350 but it'll work.

well im kinda on the fence with this one guys ...........i really dont have too many options other than finding someone that wants to trade motors.....anyone interested???? its a compleat motor including the factory intake, tb and exuast manifolds, also includes the computer( i was told it was from a caprice cop car). im not looking to make a hot rod or anything yet.......just get it running. any trades would need to be as compleat as possable to get this car running properly.
