Code 36 issue

So i got a code 36.

When i look it up on chilton/alldata it explains the issue is "ignition control 24x signal circuit error". Now when i cant wrap my head around is why the forums say its a "Burn off at mass air flow sensor OR Problem in transmission shift OR Fault in direct ignition system OR Missing pulses in electronic spark timing signal"

Anyways moral of the issue is, driving, engine warmed up, stalls/dies out.

Crank sensor or fitting is faulty or lose? Not entirely sure, maybe faulty ICM, ignition coil?

Any help, advice, knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Re: Code 36 issue

If this is the car in your mini-sig ('89 LB9), it is a MAF burn off relay malfunction.

Note that this is the TBI section, not the TPI section. An LB9 is a TPI set up.

Re: Code 36 issue

Probably tired, I've done the same when responding to fuel pressure thread on the TPI board. Thought it was the TBI board and posted the wrong info. Did correct it the next day when I saw it...
