wierd white smoke, any ideas?
i just put a 406 together and put about 500 miles on it, had a lifter colapse (bad summit lifters) changed them and put the intake back on with new gaskets and now I have two problems. the coolant bubbles when i filled the radiator with the motor running and when i reved it, it smoked right after i let off but not when i was giving it gas. Could this be and intake gasket? misadjusted valve? or a head gasket? by the way, it didnt do it before i put the new lifters in it and it still has plenty of power and runs good thanks

since you were just messin with the intake i would venture to say a leaky intake gasket....
