Car needs help.
I have posted three times now and have got some helpful hints but no ansewers. My car still will not start, Here are some of the facts. It has a new engine (L98)350, and a new computer, chip, fuel filter, fuel pump, maf sensor, and new connectors. My car will start for a second and then it dies, I will then cranck it over, and over and nothing happens. I used to leave it for an hour then it would start fine. But now it is not even starting when I cranck it over. Some people of this site told me to check spark, and it does. Then they told me to check the fuel pressure, and it has that. So I am at a loss to what the problem is. I am so sick of this car, since summer I have replaced just about everything, and have put more than $8000 usd to get it up to par. Please help.

Well after placing 8,000 usd it sounds as if you may be overlooking something very basic and not too significant. I am not too aware of you three other threads or responses but I will still give it a shot. You said you replaced your maf but did you also replace your maf power relay and burn off relay. How about your fuel pump relay itself and when was the iac changed out last because if the pindle is seized or it is defective the car will not start, try starting the car with opening up the throttle blades. But before all this is the ecm throwing any codes and you also said you changed out the ecm itself. Jump the adl anyways and see if the ecm is and will go into diagnostic mode itself. Hopethis helps

Re: Car needs help.
I am having the same problem two weeks ago i had my fuel pump, one injector, my fuel pump relay my plugs ,wires, cap, starter, alternator, battery replaced, but not the fuel filter I think they over looked that. I didn't drive it much cause the tags are expired I let the gas get real low and I think that caused the problem. Probably from them mixing around the sediment in my gas tank after dropping it to change the fuel pump the the pump sucked up all the crap and clogged the fuel filter. I don't know. Any way yeah started fine for awhile than got harder and harder until nothing. I am going to do the fuel filter myself and see if that was the cause. Just my two cents.
