Stroking out 305?
Any kit to do this? I thought there was a crank to take a 305 our to 355, but I am not sure. If so, can a T-5 take the stock power? Any help is really appreciated!

Actually there is a post on the first page here about this same subject that has some great answers, even a link to a website that sells it.
I would think that the tranny should be OK, as long as it is sound to begin with.
If it is showing signs of age, then you may want to replace it. But a 5 speed should be fine.
