I have an 88 L98 with a Throttle Body Injection System on it. I plan on modifying the car significantly, and am aiming for over 300 horsepower. So far, I plan to install:

Dual Snorkel Intake
Ultimate TBI
LT1 Roller Cam
engine-back 3 in exhaust
Edelbrock Performer 3704 Intake Manifold

How far do you think this combo will take me? I know i should get a chip burned, how exactly should i go about that?

Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

how did you get a L98 with TBI?

i would bet about 280-290 hp with a new tune

The previous owner destroyed the 305, and instead of buying a new induction system, he bolted the original TBI onto a fresh L98 block.

That TBI is choking the heck out of that 350......I would completely change the whole intake setup, either go full TPI or another FI system, or slap on a carb and tune away from there.

i thought that if i slapped on a 2" bore TBI it would flow correctly, right around 650-670 cfm.....and i had planned on headers as well, sorry for not specifying. would you recommend an LT4 cam instead?
