Rough idle
My car has a really rough idle. It goes back and forth between about 500 and 800 sometimes lower almost to the point of dieing. Could new plugs/wires maybe help this?
Also, at high RPM's, about 4K, the engine sounds like it's trying to cut out. I'm replacing my fuel pump soon and I was wondering if that would help this.

Re: Rough idle
First of all it might help to list anything you have checked, if any. I would check plugs/wires first, then check the fuel, it may just be a filter clogged. Thats not uncommon. Is this a daily driver or has it been sitting?

Re: Rough idle
It's a daily driver. I haven't really checked anything, I'm not too mechanically inclined. I changed the fuel filter a few months ago.

Re: Rough idle
Is it a TPI-? Replace both MAF Relays, I had the same problem
