A + B connected on ALDL + start engine
After my drive one week ago I checked the codes. It threw a 22. It had been so It wasn't a surprise.
I went out there this morning to turn it on and check things out. Apparently I forgot to remove the ALDL A and B terminal paperclip. So it ran for about 10 seconds with that in there before I noticed the flashing check engine light.
Turned it off, pulled that out, turned it back on. Now I have a code 34. I didn't have a code 34 before I let it sit. I only had a 22, and I had a low oil pressure problem which is why I went out there to check it out.
Could I have fried the MAF sensor by turning the engine on with those connected? I've heard of it screwing up the ECM.
damn you one week old me.

synful,
Try disconnecting the battery for ten seconds and see if the code comes back. The 22 code is the tps sensor needing to be calibrated. I would try the battery first though.
Good luck,
Rabi c.

Re: A + B connected on ALDL + start engine
ur right the code 34 doesn't show up anymore.
the code 22 sets immediately. ive had problems getting the voltage low enough when calibrating. but anyways. the lowest position the TPS will go to now is 1.20 which is way too high. that is off of the TB but still connected to the car.. does the A&B need to be connected before you check the tps? because 1.20 is def not right. and full swing not connected to the TB is 4.8
