high rpm problems after cleaning throttle body
I have a 1992 TBI engine, I sprayed some throttle body cleaner on the TB today and after I crank the car up the rpms reved higher than usual and every time I reved it up the rpms would stay high instead of goin back down. (kinda like the throttle was getting stuck) I let the car run for a while and then drove it for a few miles but it still does the same thing but not quiet as bad. and when I put it the car in drive it pulls by itself up to about 15-20 mph. is this normal for a car to do this after cleaning the TB or will it wear off soon or what?

Did you knock a vac line loose or something? Sounds like the car is lean now.

Re: high rpm problems after cleaning throttle body
well when i first crank it I had the air box off and so all the vacuum hose the runs to the TB was off and so was everything else that connects to the air box. but after I put every thing back in it still done it but not as bad and the car also started much easier. but I am pretty sure that their all connected tho.
