Car: 92RS 25th Anniv./88 IROC Z28 Vert

Car Bogs...Problems outlined...need solution
Okay, here is the deal. I don't like my acceleration when I first drive my car. My wife had been driving my car for about 3 months. While she is very knowledgable driver and even takes auto mechanics classes at the local junior college she neglected to tell me about this problem. I found out once I got my license back and started driving my car again.
CAR
92 Camaro RS 305 auto TBI w/air, everything on or in car works and is in show condition
SYMTOMS -
1. When car is cold it will warm up in park but when I switch to drive it bogs.
2. Car will backfire or at the least poot several times when I accelerated on my initial drive of the day (or if it has sat a long time) or if I hit it hard.
3. After driving several blocks or if on the express way car will smooth out until the next time car has sat a long time.
4. At the first couple of lights car sputters / bogs some when it is time to accelerate from the light. Avg RPM is 6,000 when ideling in park. Drops down when I accelerate then shoots up real fast.
REPAIRS -
1. Last summer replaced rotor, wires and plugs. NGK plugs, MSD wires
2. Two days ago removed CAT. Heard a bad rattle and replaced it with a straight pipe. Less backfire on initial run, down to almost none. Love the new sound out the back.
3. Replaced hose running from the PCV to the TBI. I noticed it was colapsing and put on a thicker one that won't colaspe or pinch itself when air is sucked in.
4. Checked fluids and added fuel system cleaner. I normally don't use additives but I am desperate.
SOLUTIONS -
1. I am open to any suggestions.
2. I am thinking fuel filter. I thought that if it was bad it would just go out and clog my fuel line. It's not doing that. Once car warms no problem with power or acceleration.
3. I am also thinking fuel pump. I have had the car since 75,000 and now at 155,000 it has not been changed. Could this be a sign that it is going bad? Or do they just go out?
4. Injectors are OEM. Should I change and upgrade and if I do what do you reccomend? Will an upgrade involve the ecm?
I may need to drive out of town on March 1st and if I don't get a rental I need to solve this problem.

are you getting any codes? SES?
Air filter condition?
Fuel filter is a possibility.
Test the ohmage across the injectors cold then hot and compare.
Able to watch the injectors upon cold start?
Many possible scenarios being as it's only when it's cold motor.

No codes/SES lites
Air Filters are clean K & N system
what is the ohmage? How do I test it?
I have not watched the injectors cold other than to look and make sure they are injecting gas which they are.

check fuel pressure and volume, try to hook it up so that you can drive it and watch it.
