need advice to good to be true PLEASE HELP
IS this a ply-able idea the guy said its a professional shop past LA that owes him a turbo setup for ANY CAR He said he sold him his 94 supra for 1000 and they said they would turbo any car of his choice
He said they would do a twin turbo set-up and he said it has a one year warranty just wondering if this sound like a bad idea
or if i get a nice upgrade for 1000$
even if they were trying to rip me off whats the worst they could do i mean it has to be able to drive away

See if he'll just hand over a pair of new American-made T76s, with wastegates, BOVs, and an intercooler that's 19" x 26" overall.
Then we could figure something out from there.
Not that any SBC or LSx needs a pair of T76s. Most could never even use a pair of T66s. But use one, sell the other? Oh yeah! A T76 would be fine for a serious 350, or a medium 383. A T66 would do for a medium 350.
But the T76 is the more expensive, so in the spirit of getting all you can....

A new, American-made T76 is worth $2,200. Or a pair of T4S04s are worth $3,200. Add in the intercooling, the fuel system, and everything else, it's some serious coin.

There's not much they can do to "rip you off" besides giving you a cheap setup... As long as it has a good BOV and wastegate it won't harm anything. Even a cheap turbo setup is worth more than $1000. Seeing as it is free, you will NEVER get even close to the same bang for your buck on anything else except (even another turbo setup)

Re: need advice to good to be true PLEASE HELP
I have a contract with a Turbo Manufacturer. The desired car will get the whole turbo setup, piping, and calibration installed at a professional shop. Plus written warranty for a whole year. All im asking is 1k and the contract its yours. 100% legit, i can accompany you to the shop and be present at all times. i am moving out of the country so i dont need it anymore. I was gonna get it installed into a 99 lude but i sold it already, they will get the turbo that fits and calibrates into your engine (eg, 1.8T, GTI, H23, 22R, 2GZ, etc).
You know this a steal so please only serious callers.
this is the add on craigslist what do you think?file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Setting...BLpN1.htm.part

Re: need advice to good to be true PLEASE HELP
Just to be a pessimist for the sake of paranoia, I have to ask... Do you KNOW this guy, or you met him on craigslist, through an ad? Could it be a scam to steal/strip your car? Or up sell later?
On the other hand Maybe it is a golden ticket, or like winning the lottery, and a great deal.
