Replaced fuel pump but still won't start?
Okay, whenever i tried to start the car but it would only crank. The car wanted to start and gets a slight idle only if i step on the gas pedal while cranking the car, then if i let go of the key while stepping on the gas pedal car would die in 3 seconds.
I know the car is getting spark, which its got a new spark plug, distributor, ign coil, cap, rotor and ign module. I really need help on this guys..

Does the fuel pump prime for 3 seconds when you turn the key to "on"? Did you replace the fuel filter and strainer? I had to put 5 gallons of gas in my tank and cycle the fuel pump several times before my 305 started after changing my fuel pump.

Right, i can hear the fuel pumps pitch noise for 3 secs. The new fuel pump came with a strainer. I havent changed the fuel filter just yet but im going to do that. I'll take your advice about adding 5 gal of gas and see what happens. Thanks!

Check for fuel at schrader valve. Buy a Haynes manual and follow the procedures in the troubleshooting section.

Re: Replaced fuel pump but still won't start?
I have replaced the fuel filter and added 4 gal of gas, and cycled the new fuel pump but still won't start? I noticed both injectors aren't firing, but one of the injector drips a tiny amount of fuel into TB and the other injector does nothing.
Tested both injectors with multimeter and resulted 2.4 ohms which they're okay?
I don't know what else could be the problem?..

My TBI injectors on my running thirdgens are in the 1.1 - 1.3 ohm range.

Re: Replaced fuel pump but still won't start?
The injectors should have a conical spray pattern when firing. If one is dripping and the other is not doing anything then the injectors may be clogged or the coils in them may be bad anyway. Try starting the engine by spraying starting fluid while cranking and see if it wants to start. If it starts and dies then it's not getting enough fuel from the injectors and they may have to be replaced.

Help anyone, both injectors are not firing. I've already cleaned them and tested them with ohm meter reading 2.4 ohms?

Re: Replaced fuel pump but still won't start?
Tested both with a light bulb, I get no pulse on both injector connector plugs. Both injector fuses are new, so i'm out of ideas on what to diagnose next?
