I tell you what, that Topaz is very intimidating, as long as I am driving my moms Subaru, or my dads F-150!!!

:lala: :lala: :lala:
lol 5.0 i wouldnt be scared of anything if i was
driving a subaru WRX AWD .(..well if ur mom has
that ...) even the other subarus should give
the topaz a good run for the money..(except the
station wagons..)

maybe ur sentence should be more like

" tell you what, that Topaz is very intimidating, as long as I am walking , running or on a bicycle!!!"

Nope, my mom has a 2002 Impreza RS, about a 16.4 in the 1/4, and my dads F-150 went 17.1 with a full tank of gas, plus 1/4 of the 2nd tank, all of our tools we took to the track (about 150 lbs.) and the 5.0, 3.08 gears (the slowest, with the worst gears)!

He wants to add an exhaust (needs it) a tune up, and 3.55s (better for towing) and make a run for low 16s!!!

I will just have to race him in my dads LX then, to make it a little more fair!!!

I can wail on 305's and V6s and many other unsuspecting people that think this is a granny car, Don't look like it though, I take the ricers out as well
I've never heard of a DOHC 3.0 in a Topaz, even in the XR5. I thought they all had the 2.3 HSC 4cyl or the 140 hp Vulcan 3.0 V6.
Hardly 305 F-body beating material. Maybe if you're REAL lucky, you can take an unsuspecting 82 LG4 automatic.

And I'd say it'd be a close race between the Z and the Stang. If both are in good tune, I give it to the Z. They actually weigh about the same and the Z has better gears and more torque.

My friend has a 1984 Z28 with the 305 H.O., My other friend has a 1992 Mercury Topaz XR5, The XR5 has a 3.0 Vulcan V6 engine with a 5 spd, My buddies Camaro has no mods, and it's auto, I think stock the Topaz has about 160 hp.
They came to a dead stop, They took off, At first they were dead even and then the Camaro ate the Topaz alive, I know this Topaz is pretty quick I seen it beat a Neon R/T already.
He admits it doesn't have 175 - 180 HP...and the Topaz was raped by the same 305 he claims it could spank..LoL!

OWNED

If you don't have anything bad to say about Camaro_1986_19, then don't say anything at all.

BTW, my last post above has been edited...
