Two Yellow Blurs go at it....
This guy here in town has a 97 Hard Top Yellow Mustang that is equipped with Equal Length Headers, X Pipe and Full Cat Back Flowmaster Exhaust, 5.0 Ripper Shifter, aftermarket TB and Suspension work done, He is always at the local gatherings, I have an Yellow 88 L98 GTA with 120,XXX miles, with a SuperChip Prom, Ported Plenum and a Turbo Muffler, well during lunch I caught him at a light, and down here in Brownsville it is like 57 degrees, to us that is cold!!! I mean heII we have 100 degree weather almost all year round, Well I rev up at him and he does the same to me, I stall to about 1050 RPM and he stalls his too, and when the light goes green I ease up out of the whole and I can hear him lettin the clutch slip slowly and when I get to 1500 RPM's I floor it and he does almost exactly the same time I do, I was on his front fender til we hit second then when I pulled into second at 5000 RPM I jumped ahead by about almost a whole GTA's length, he stayed on my rear panel and when I hit third he dropped back to my back bumper and we let off at about 92 MPH, and I am expecting an excuse at the next light, so I put down my window and he gives me a thumbs up and as he turns right I see his license plate frame " Have You Chased a Mustang Lately? " LOL!!! I almost pissed myself laughing from seeing that, WOOOO!!! I love this cold weather!!! It makes me feel soooo good to race in....Well mark another kill down for my Yellow GTA!!!....AARON

Sounds like that Mustang needs gears! Some 3.73s and the outcome would be much different. But since you run what you brung, and you brung more, good run and congrats on the win!

98 Mustang GT Convertible
I got a friend that has a Black w/ White Race Strips in a 98 Mustang GT Convertible, 5 Speed, with Flowmaster Mufflers and a 125lb. driver...what do you all think the out come will be???...AARON
