Close race.He has a 06 quad cab auto SRT-10. The thing is a beast.5500lb monster. It was neck to neck until 85 when we both let off.I don't like to race on the street, so we just did 2 rolls from 20mph to 80-85 on the freeway.First race I got him by 1/2 a car and second race he got me by about 4inches.I am sure uptop it would have started to pull me.His truck is totally stock. He says the dealer says it will run 13.3-13.6 totally stock and that is the auto quad cab.It cost 53k but It is way faster then a stock lightning because I can pull a stock lightning pretty hard.

His next step is to do a few bolt-ons without voiding the factroy warrenty. He hopes to run mid-low 12s by the summer. It would have been a slaughter if it was a viper but the truck weighs 2,300 more pounds then my monte. So the hp to weight ratio was somewhat close. It is strange to see racing style bucket seats in a quad cab truck and not laugh but once you get in you understand the the truck is show but has a $hit load of go.

idk about a 13.3 with a quad cab.. there's a quad cab on maui that runs a 13.7.. stock.. there is one with the regular cab and a stick that runs 13.3 or 13.4.. mostly stock.. it has a clutch and i think he has tires.. dont know of anything else.. dont you just hate the thought of a 5500lbs truck keeping up with you?? and trust me, you will pull it on the top end because of aerodynamics.. i know that first hand.. i raced my friends focus with my ranger.. i killed him out of the hole then it got really windy going UP the highway and he just walked on by me at about 85.. i couldnt go any faster and i have about 160hp.. he has about 100hp.. but now my s-10 extreme is a different story.. aerodynamic body kit, 200hp.. i topped out my hypertech 128mph speedlimiter in the wind in 5th gear.. aerodynamics play a huge roll at high speeds

I don't know about him running a 13.7 but I can tell you that I ran a 8.6 at 82mph at the 1/8 mile track with a stock style stall converter (1900) and a 2.0 60ft. I would say that he will probalby pull low 13s in the quarter for sure if it hooks.I have seen single cab srt-10s with sticks run high 12s totally stock.

My car 355hp 3300 pounds(274rwhp)

His truck 510hp 5500+pounds.(estimated 390-410RWHP)

Stock lightnings run 13.8-14.0 and they never kept pretty much nose to nose. The dodge does feel alot faster then my car but I guess thats all the motor.

The old 8.0 V10 that I had in my 6,500lbs 1994 2500 Long Bed regular cab truck with the Automatic and 3.92 gears could click off a 14.8 @ 90 pass in the 1/4 mile, spinning horribly off the line. The V10 is just a torquey engine. It didn't take long to reach 120 MPH with 350 HP @ 4,500 and 500 TQ @ 2,800.
