Does it exit before the axle?
What is ground clearance like?
How easy was it?
Thats all I can think of for now

Thats pretty nice. Thats the exhaust I wanted when i got duals put on my car. Just a set of straight pipes more or less. The shop that did mine ran them up and over the transmission crossmember, looped it back under the trans then ran both pipes down the passenger side over the rear axle. It was a really nice install, shame i had to cut it all off.

Kevin, Why did you have to cut yours off?
I have a Question for you guys with dual exhaust.Do you personally think its loud? I'm debating, but I dont want hassles with police. Also, what are good mufflers for dualies?
thanks, Corey..

hmmm.....well this thing sounds nice loud at idle and when you stand on it...but at just crusing, even at like 100 km/h it is surprisingly quiet.....i would suggest hooker aerochambers when going dual exhaust...however they are very thiick...if you used some of those low profile spin tech mufflers there would be plently of ground clearance at the back where the mufflers sit (that is the lowest spot my car now)
i am very happy with this setup ...it cost me a total of $307...that includes the labour from my mechanic, who happens to be my best friends dad, the 2 mufflers and all the hardware i needed.

paul...in response to your earlier post...i am sorry...i didnt realize i hadnt answered all your questions...
the mufflers dump right before the rear axle....the turndowns are almost right under the axle...this is due to where the mufflers sit...they sit up ahead of the rear axle and below the rear seats.
it was a fairly easy install...it tokk 2 of us just under 3 hours. we actually had it all bolted and welded up and we put the hoist down and we saw the turndowns were too low when they pointed toward the back of car and down....so we had to put it back up...heat the outlets on the mufflers to get the turndowns free and then twist and reclamp them so they pointed out to the side and down.

I had alot of clearance issues with mine. It was built around the T5 manual transmission i had in the car when i got the exhaust done. I changed the trans over to a TH350 automatic, and there just wasn't enough room for everything to fit. I also though it sounded like crap. It was only 2" pipe, and had alot of bends in the pipe, so the backpressure was high. Personally, I think duals are a waste of time any $$$ on a thirdgen unless you do what Brad did. His system is what I really wanted on my car, 2.5" straight pipe. Unless you know someone like Brad who can help you fabricate the system, its easier and cheaper to go with a single 3" system in my opinion.
