I thought the 90 Irocs were the fastest sice this was the first year of SD(which added 5 extra hp over the maf cars). It will be minimal as Daz said.

I doubt you'll find much difference between any of the years but i'd try to get an '88-90. My pick would a '90 because of the interior update and SD. The '87's seem to be the slowest of the bunch.

Yes, but why bother with a 305? I expect he's gonna look for 350 cars.

I was serious. Aren't the '87's the slowest of the L98 cars when stock?

The 90 Iroc is the fastest and the most rare, only like 4000 or so 1990 Irocs made.

Come on Paul...give the 87's some credit! It was the first year for the L98 in the f-body, of course as the years go on they're gonna improve it.

To be honest, every car behaves different. There is no real hard line as to which is faster. At the end of the day a 350 is a 350, and with minimal mods they can all be made to perform. My advice when going to find a car is just get one in your price range and go from there.

Besides the fact that it needs a motor, there is no ECM no wireing harness, etc.I took it for the price and will most likely sell it.Im not a fan of converts i need a car that can also be winterio driven without feeling like the doors are slightly open all the time.

Thank you very much for your assumption..
