Where is the ESC module?

For a 92 TPI Speed Density car.

I took a pic of the bracket on the firewall, so everyone knows its not there

Anyone know?

In addition, my ECM is new. If the ESC is built into the ECM, where does that leave me with a code 43?

The ESC/Knock filter is part of the 730 memcal

The memcal will run you about $50-$60 if it is indeed bad

Sorry...

but thats where its at :P

You can try to take the ECM to a GM dealership and have them test it...

or buy another ecm for $60 and try it with your memcal... or visa versa..

Or even if you have a buddy with a SD car.

Re: Where is the ESC module?

I have a 92 RS but it's got a 5.7 TPI (police package) and we cannot locate the ESC module! Any ideas - anyone have a PIC of where its located? Thanks.

Re: Where is the ESC module?

As stated in the third post, its part of the MEMCAL and not an individual unit like previous years

Also, this post is ancient. Use the search feature to find answers but dont resurrect them to ask a question that was answered already
