Axle/Gears: stock 10 bolt-3.73 eaten posi

ive been getting a code 24(vss). ive replaced it and it still comes on. here is the the thing though, it only comes on while deccerating. and when i start moving again it goes away.
whether i just let off or hit the brake it will come on. any help is appreciated.

Car: 83 POS monte carlo 2015 chevy P/U
Engine: 92 5.7 tpi 5.3
Transmission: 700r4 6L60E
Axle/Gears: 2.42 too high
look at the data stream & find the the MPH, watch it & see if it drops out while moving
also, while scanning it, check to see if the ECM says its in park/neutral or in gear.

id have to check it tomorrow, but if the mph does fall off(because it fells like it) what would that mean?

if it is dropping out, which it sounds like it is doing, then you'll need to find out if its the sensor or a problem with the wiring or connectors.
if it isn't dropping out, then it may be the P/N switch is telling the ECM its in park or neutral when its really in gear. it would be rare if that is what is setting the code, but it could be the problem.
