Manifold vacume at idle

i fixed the rugulator problem somewhat and starts better now but what vacume pressure should i be running at and what is a good idle in neutral ,now i've got 21 in" -Hg of vacume at idle, and i'm running at 875-750 rpm in neutral if i lower the idle rpm the engine hesitates and oil pressure goes down to almost 15psi or red area.

Not sure what is the stock reading but 21 sound great to me. I had 18 with my previous non stock cam on stock intake (if that matters) and now have 17 with my XFI268 cam and AFR heads on AS&M/Edelbrock intake.
