I know it's an ebay ad, but this thing looks weird as hell. I wanted to see what you guys thoughts on it were. Good, bad, retarded... etc. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Anyway, you get the idea.

wow! Very weird for sure.
Looks rather big, but for some 2 TB's might be better the one.

does anyone else think this looks like a muffler on top of a tunnel ram type manifold? i know a lot of work went into it but i personally dot really like it. but i owuld be interested to see how it works on an engine. do before and after tests.
and btw, how do you control 2 IAC sensors also?

personally i think this thing looks pretty intimidating. i would think that you'd have to get a single throttle shaft machined to operate both t.b.s together. then have the tps mounted on the one on the left. as far as the iac goes; wouldn't one be able to control the idle, and the other one just be a dummy? (to fill the hole in the t.b.) i would love to see this up and running.

Looks cool, but is complete overkill and probably more trouble than it is worth.

Re: Crazy Looking TPI, check it out fellas!
it looks to me like the plenum is big enough, looking at it, its maybe twice the size of a stock TPI & possibly close to 3 times the stock size. isn't the recommended plenum size half the displacement of the motor?
i agree, i would prefer the bungs to be welded in, but it would also depend on what type of epoxy they used, if they used the right type & cleaned everything right it will last with no problems.
the biggest thing i don't like about it is the angle of the injectors, they miss the back side of the valves by more than a little at that angle.

Re: Crazy Looking TPI, check it out fellas!
Did you know that the TPI RUNNERS and glues in the flanges?
The worst thing about that intake is the injector angle. From the looks if it they are gonna be sprayin on the other side of the intake runner and not ON the back of the valve. Im gonna guess the plenum was done before the injectors and he then noticed they wouldnt fit. So did them like that.
deff.a piece of work.
