Annette Summers' car doesn't blow up. Why would yours?

maybe the ford will blow up trying to catch you.

hey ODB must be a blue bottle junkie. hehe but seriously jester if you play it conservitive with the NOS your motor can live a very long life. you don't use it that much so it does't put continuos stress on a motor like a supercharger does. so keep it at 100-125 hp and you should be fine. you can read the tech articles on this site to help you out. my 88 350 tpi iroc had a 175 hp kit by the previous owner and it rocked. till it bent a rod and cracked a piston, but that was after about 2 years of racing almost every weekend. oh yeah it went from 9.0s to 7.40s in the 1/8 mile. thats enough to spank a bunch of pusstangs.

later

------------------
88 irocz fresh 350 tpi eibach springs, weld draglites, 1 3/4 hedman shortys, flow master, march aluminium underdrive pulleys, T.B. coolant bypass, accel 300+ race wires, 180 thermostat, accel flow booster, 2 lower walls removed from stock uppper plenum, 700r4 with 2500 stall, B&M shift kit, corvette servo, kevlar frictions, K&N filters, emissions delete

yeah i know how ya feel. i don't want to chance my motor on nitrous either cause i can't afford to fix it if it pukes its guts on the road. if u wanna beat him with out nitrous(i'm assuming you have an automatic tranny) you need
1 headers and cat back exhaust
2 lower gears
3 better camshaft
4 higher stall converter
5 and if you want to get him without going through all that, get a supercharger!
