fuel pressure regulator cover/cap - where to get one?

Mine is warped (don't ask, lol). Where can I get a new one? The local Chevy dealer tried to charge me 163 dollars for a new FPR, how messed up is that? All I need is a cap. I never see any TPI cars in junkyards, so that's out of the question. Autozone sells stock FPRs, but when I had the guy show me one, it's just the internals, with the spring and diaphragm, with no cap. Any help would be really appreciated.....

Since you are in need of a replacement part why don't you get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator while your at it. Post a Part Wanted ad in TGO Classified section for one. I just bought Crane AFPR off of there a week ago for $40 delivered. It made a huge difference when I adjusted the pressure from 42psi to 50psi.

If you don't want to do that I will sell you the stock cover off of mine.

When I bought one years ago from work (Standard Ignition part) it came with a new cap as well.
Check around, you should be able to get one somewhere.

There has to be a TON of the orignal "hats" around, given the number of people that have swapped their stock "hat" for an adjustable one.

Was a quarter too much?

A quarter can't be too much glenn, i got a nickel and dime in mine which is just under 2 quarters thick
It was a pita to compress on reinstalation and yields 56psi. As soon as i track down a spare set of injectors to get cleaned i'm pulling it an dropping to a quarter which should be ~50 psi, my goal.
